Recent Update

Hey guys, unfortunately I haven't been blogging a lot lately as its been my college deadline last week. However now ive finished all my work, I am able to now blog as much as I can. I have a lot of new exciting subjects to blog about shortly. But first this post is about a recent outfit i have purchased, which is from a variety of different shops.

I'm always one to suit off the shoulder tops & high necked tops, so I have combined these together. This outfit is made up from Topshop jeans, new look off the shoulder white top and a black choker which contains a gold pendant from new look and also new laced up shoes form Misguided. I absolutely love this outfit.

Comfy Attire

I have always been someone who defiantly dresses for comfort, I love wearing comfortable clothing as it makes me feel so much more relaxed. An outfit I wore the other day, is an outfit I love wearing when I want to feel extra comfortable.

The outfit is very simple and plain; its made up of denim metallic hayden jeans - which are from Topshop at £46.00 and a plain black oversized tshirt - which is from Pretty Little Thing at £8.00. The black top is v necked, however it is huge so i do often wear it off the shoulder or sometimes even just with tights.

Favourite Tanning Products

                            
Everyone loves being tanned, right? I absolutely love walking around while looking tanned, it makes me feel more better about myself with a good tan. So I thought I'd tell you guys about my favourite tanning products I use. 

I have tired so many different products for self tan, I sometimes have spray tans but not very often. If I do have spray tan I will always use the tanning shop in Stafford town. 

St. Moriz Tanning Moose

One of the tanning products I use is called St. Moriz, you may or may not of heard of it, but you can buy this product from all most everywhere, you can even get it from supermarkets. I would usually buy mine from Home Bargains, as its most probably the cheapest. I used to use this product all time, it's very good and comes out really well but sometimes too heavy, so if you want only a nice bronze glow I would suggest going for a more lighter colour like the light shade. You can always get this product as a spray & a lotion, I do use the moose version as I find it the easiest to apply!

This product I always apply using a tanning Mitt, however this can sometimes come out really streaky and can often feel quite sticky after use. This tanning product is very superior, I mainly use this if I just need a tan for the next day or put it on in the morning so it's begins to show in the evening. This tan will only last through one shower and its developing, if you just get a splash of water on it, it will instantly go very streaky - this sometimes doesn't look as good.

Dove Tinted Moisturiser

My all - time favourite tanning lotion is defiantly Dove tinted moisturiser in shade medium - dark. I go through so many bottles of this, it's incredible. You can buy this product from a local Boots or Superdrug store and again can be found in some supermarkets. Normally this product costs around £7.00 which is slightly more expensive then the St. Moriz, but at the moment in boots it's only £3.49! I've recently been and brought 3 more bottles as the price has gone down slightly. This product is a lotion and I apply it with my hands, which is ok as long as you remember to wash your hands after, they can go very dark. Sometimes I forgot and really regret the next day - though remember not to wash your hands to much as you don't want a tanned body and then white hands. I love this product as it comes out amazing, I do often tend to put two layers on when applying; it's so easy to apply and as its a moisturiser it softens your skin and makes you feel so much healthier - the tan also doesn't leave a horrendous smell either. When wearing this tan it always lasts about 4-5 days and that also allows me to shower everyday; obviously when it comes to day 4-5 I can become a bit streaky and not as tanned, however it defiantly still shows a great tan. I usually apply it about once a week, and it's defiantly looks good all week.

Favourite and Recommended make-up products

When doing my makeup I often use a lot of different products but I am just going to tell you about my favourite products and what I recommend for you to buy.

 NYX Matte Bronzer

I used to always struggle to find the perfect bronzer until I came across this certain one. I didn't purchase this until a few months ago but oh my god it is amazing. It comes out so clear and good, it is a matte bronzer which is another reason why I love it so much. This bronzer can also be used for face & body.

The shade of bronzer I got was medium MBB03 which to me is dark enough. This shade of bronzer also goes really well when you've got a tan too.

However you cant purchases NYX makeup from a boots store so I had to ordered it in to store which arrived straight away the day after I purchased it. But you can purchase these from Selfridges. I also love this bronzer else well because it is very affordable at just £7.00.

Revolution Highlighting Powder Vivid Baked Golden Lights

This is my favourite highlighter ever!!! It works so well and the outcome of the shimmer is amazing; it has rich pigmentation and is incredibly illuminating. When applying the highlighter I have to only put a minimal amount on as it comes out really heavy.

This highlighter can be ordered and purchased from various places, I normally buy mine from Superdrug or sometimes order it on amazon. This highlighter is also affordable as its £7.99 and with amazon it is free delivery. However in superdrug it is only £3.00.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer

Eyebrows are always highlighted as one of the most important elements of doing your daily makeup. So to make it easier for yourself you will need the right beauty essentials to get them as pristine as possible.

The Brow Definer that I use is definitely my favourite beauty product to concur the brows. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. This product is very good; I've only been using this product for a short amount of time but it definitely makes the difference - it definitely defines the brows. I purchased this when I was in America in Sephora at the price $23 ; however in the UK it is only £16.00. This product again can be purchased from many websites, however the website Cult Beauty ships to the UK for no additional price.

The shade I use is soft brown.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick

Stila Liquid Lipsticks are amazing, as soon as you apply the lipstick it turns to a matted state - which looks so good on. These lipstick will stay on all day even through eating and drinking this lipstick will remain on - when you do wear this product it does take a while to remove it. Nevertheless, the result is worth it.

Again I purchased mine in Sephora in American which was $24. In the UK you can purchase this product from the Stila website/ Sephora website & you can buy Stila products from boots; however they don't have this specific lipstick in.

To apply my makeup I sometimes use the real techniques brushes & blenders, but my favourite makeup brushes to use are Uspicy which I purchased on Amazon for £14.99.
These brushes are very good, they contain all the brushes you need to apply your daily makeup. They include 32-piece makeup brushes which are wrapped in a professional travel pouch. You can also choose between white or black brushes which is a bonus. They are very high quality and are extremely soft on the skin.

New York City - places to visit

 In New York City there are so many amazing places to visit whilst you're there. 

During my trip to NYC recently I went to some of these amazing landmarks and I definitely would recommend seeing these places whilst on your visit.

Grand Central Station

Grand Central Station is such a magnificent place, the interior of the building is amazing and looks so elegant. A lot of movie and TV scenes have been captured in this station. It is a railroad terminal at 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, United States. This terminal also offers transportation, shopping and dining.

Central Park

Central park is one of New York's finest tourist areas - it is the most visited urban park in the United States.  It is also one of the most filmed locations. The park has a lot to offer such as; Horse and Carriage Tours, Ice staking, Bike Rental, Attractions and also the park has a zoo just next to it.

9/11 Memorial

The 9/11 memorial is there to remember those who were injured and killed during the September 11 2001 attacks. It is located at the World Trade Centre Site, which was the former location of the Twin Towers. There is also a museum along side the memorial.

Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge is a very famous landmark to New York; it is a very well known bridge and is also the oldest bridge in the United States as it was completed in 1883. This bridge is the passage that connects Brooklyn and Manhattan together. You can drive / walk / cycle over the bridge. You can also take awesome pictures of Manhattan on this bridge.

Top of the Rockefeller

The Rockerfeller centre is a very national historic landmark for New York city ; It is located in the centre of midtown Manhattan. This landmark is also very popular as you can take the most astonishing landscape pictures of New York.

Times Square

Times Square is a very popular place especially for pedestrians as it is estimated that about 330,000 pass through times square daily. Times Square is filled with very bright billboards and advertisements; the billboards make New York feel likes in daytime at night. Times Square is also often featured in many films and TV scenes.
